Values

What Characterizes Our Practices?

Whole Hearted Worship – Responding to God with all of who we are to all of who He is.

Outgoing Love – Becoming a church not for ourselves.

Biblical Proclamation – Representing truthfully the God of the Bible.

Sacrificial Community – Learning and spreading God’s Goodness through true-faced relationships

Desperate Dependence – Delightfully abiding in Jesus, in and through whom we bear much fruit.

Bold Faith – Trusting God to the extent of His character.

We know from the book of Acts that the church grows through faithful disciples, as those who have been reached go on to reach others. In the gospels, we see this process of disciple making modeled in the way Christ challenged His followers to move from their initial positions of unbelief to a point of spiritual maturity and fruitfulness.

The disciple making process can be summed up in five basic challenges given to Jesus' disciples during his ministry on earth.

CONNECT: “Come and see” and “Repent and believe”

GROW: “Follow me”

SERVE: "I will make you fishers of men”

GO: “I am sending you”

Our goal in our church is to walk people through this process of disciple making, challenging them to take the next step in the journey from unbelief to spiritual maturity. This challenges the spiritually mature to four postures: they must SHARE their life as well as the gospel with others; they must SUPPORT those who are growing in Christ; they must EQUIP those who are serving others; they must SEND those equipped to multiply.
